Secure Wi-Fi for visitors, without the risks of open networks.
More and more organizations are saying goodbye to open guest Wi-Fi and shared passwords. With Publicroam, you automatically offer visitors a secure, enterprise-level connection without captive portals or manual logins.

Open networks no longer fit a professional security policy
Open Wi-Fi and shared passwords carry risks that are less visible than before, but still relevant. Think of fake networks (evil twin) that devices can connect to unnoticed, phishing via fake login pages, and the collection of metadata. Publicroam solves this with enterprise-level security: WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise with security via a server certificate.
- WPA2/3-Enterprise. Enterprise-level security for public networks
- No captive portal. Less chance of phishing, no habituation to insecure logins
- Certificate security. Protects against fake networks that mimic your network

Protected against evil twin attacks
Attackers can set up a network with the same name as your Wi-Fi. Publicroam prevents this through certificate-based security and WPA2/3-Enterprise, making it virtually impossible to mimic the network.
No captive portal, less phishing
Login pages get users used to mindlessly entering data. Publicroam has no login page. Users connect automatically and securely, without having to enter anything.
Employees on guest Wi-Fi?
In practice, employees also sometimes use guest Wi-Fi. Work devices have access to company data. Publicroam prevents guest Wi-Fi from becoming a weak link in your security policy.
Secure access via open standards
Publicroam works based on WPA2/3-Enterprise and 802.1X authentication via RADIUS. Each user is individually authenticated via a certificate. Devices connect automatically to the trusted infrastructure without users having to do anything.

WPA2/3-Enterprise
Strong security for both public and business networks, without compromising on ease of use.
802.1X / RADIUS authentication
Users connect automatically and securely via proven authentication standards.
Encrypted per device
Each session is individually encrypted. What one user sends is invisible to others.
Protection against fake networks
Network verification via certificate prevents users from unknowingly connecting to a fake network.

Why is Publicroam safe?
Publicroam uses the same security standards used on business networks, educational institutions, and government networks.
Unlike many traditional guest Wi-Fi networks, Publicroam does not work with shared passwords or unsecured open access. Every user has their own account and connects via a secure authentication method.
Publicroam uses, among other things:
- WPA2-Enterprise and WPA3-Enterprise;
- IEEE 802.1X;
- EAP authentication;
- certificate verification.
This significantly reduces the risk of misuse, fake Wi-Fi networks, and the interception of network traffic.
Users create an account once and can then connect automatically and securely at all connected Publicroam locations.
