Publicroam is available to all of the more than 4 million annual visitors across all 26 branches of the Amsterdam Public Library (OBA).

Publicroam ensures that OBA is part of an urban network of linked Wi-Fi networks. And not just an urban network, but even a national network.

The library teaches its visitors digital skills. Secure use of Wi-Fi in public spaces is part of that. With Publicroam, people learn this skill within the secure environment of the library.

The privacy of library visitors is guaranteed. No tracking or data collection. The minimal data collected is only used for its intended purpose: providing a secure connection.

Convenience

With Publicroam, OBA visitors only need to create an account once. After that, they automatically go online at all OBA branches and also at hundreds of other locations.
